Residential care home in Kent

Sholden Hall Residential Home

Let us tell you about our home. Underlining everything we do is our unwavering commitment to provide our residents with the best possible, person-centred care.

We specialise in caring for older persons, and those living with dementia. All of our residents are treated with dignity and respect and have as much choice around the way in which they live their lives as they wish.

Visiting Sholden Hall

Following the receipt of new government guidelines, Sholden Hall, is happy to welcome visitors, subject to the following conditions, which will be strictly observed and to which no exceptions can be permitted:

Visits must be pre-booked, and will last no longer than 30 minutes.

  1. Visitors must agree to wear full PPE (personal protective equipment) upon entering the home, and having their temperature taken by a non-contact thermometer. Hands are to be sanitised at the time of entry.
  2. No food or drink is to be taken into the home, and we regret that drinks cannot be provided to you.
  3. You will meet with the resident in the dining room, which will be sanitised before and after the visit. Sadly, and in order to comply with the guidelines, you may not touch the resident.
  4. No children will be allowed to visit, at least for the time being.
  5. A receptacle for used PPE will be provided at the entrance; this must be removed upon departure and discarded.

We are sorry to have to impose such strict rules around visiting, but we know how special these times are for you and our resident and we are sure they will not in any way spoil what will be your first visit for upwards of four months.

Sholden Hall Testimonial

“I am writing to thank you and your staff for the care and support you have given two of my clients. I visited 'R' at Sholden Hall and I feel that you and your staff have done an amazing job in supporting this lady. I am pleased with the support that you have put in place for 'A' who is due to come into Sholden Hall and it is clear that you have completed a person-centred assessment which acknowledges and supports his beliefs and values”
